Job Title: Director – Instrumentation

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Director – Instrumentation to lead the instrumentation and automation function for a reputed industrial automation organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, technical excellence, project execution, and strategic leadership while managing high-performing engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Instrumentation business and engineering function.
  • Develop business strategies to achieve growth and profitability.
  • Oversee instrumentation design, engineering, project execution, and commissioning activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and mentor senior engineering professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive innovation, digitalization, and process improvements.
  • Support business development activities, including technical proposals and customer presentations.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 18–25 years of experience in industrial automation, process automation, instrumentation, EPC, or engineering services.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing large teams and complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, control systems, and industrial automation solutions.
  • Excellent client management, commercial, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Industry Experience:
Industrial Automation, Process Automation, EPC, Engineering Services, Oil & Gas, Power, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing.
