We are hiring for one of our esteemed Client who is based in a West African country in the power sector field for the below mentioned position.

• Designation:  Project Group Owner
• Location: Mumbai
• Experience: 12 to 17  yrs
• Position: Permanent 
• Qualification: BE in Electrical Engineering

Purpose of the Role

To lead and manage multiple EPC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. The role requires a seasoned professional who can drive project execution strategy, manage P&L responsibilities, and serve as the primary interface between the company and its clients for project-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple EPC projects from initiation to completion
• Ensure project delivery within defined scope, timelines, and budget
• Develop project execution strategies and resource planning
• Monitor project performance, risks, and financials on an ongoing basis
• Maintain strong client relationships and handle escalations
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and site teams for seamless execution
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Drive profitability and cost optimization across assigned projects

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong background in Electrical EPC projects (Substation / Distribution)
• Proven experience handling multiple projects with P&L responsibility
• Strong client and stakeholder management experience
• Deep understanding of contracts, billing, and claim management
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Working experience in Utility / DISCOM projects (RDSS / IPDS) is strongly preferred
