Urgent Hiring: Chief Projects Officer – Mining Industry
Location: India
Experience Required: 20+ Years

A leading organization in the Mining Industry is looking for a highly experienced Chief Projects Officer to lead and manage large-scale mining and infrastructure projects across India.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end execution of mining projects including planning, development, construction, commissioning, and operations
• Drive project execution strategies to ensure completion within timelines and budget
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional project teams
• Oversee mine infrastructure development including crushing plants, beneficiation plants, conveyor systems, roads, utilities, and related facilities
• Ensure compliance with mining regulations, environmental standards, statutory approvals, and HSE requirements
• Monitor project risk, productivity, cost control, and operational performance
• Coordinate with government authorities, stakeholders, and senior management for project approvals and execution
• Develop project schedules, resource planning, procurement strategies, and reporting systems
• Lead technical evaluation, feasibility studies, and project optimization initiatives
• Build and mentor high-performing project and engineering teams

Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• 20+ years of experience in mining project management and operations
• Proven experience handling large mining infrastructure and expansion projects
• Strong understanding of open cast/underground mining operations, project execution, and mine development
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, planning, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial, contractual, and operational understanding
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
