Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Executive to support business development and client management activities for timber/log exports from Uruguay to India. The role will focus on developing relationships with importers, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting commercial operations across India.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Identify new business opportunities and develop new markets across India
  • Coordinate with clients regarding orders, pricing, shipment schedules, and requirements
  • Conduct market visits and client meetings in locations such as Kandla, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc.
  • Support negotiation and commercial discussions with customers
  • Prepare reports on market trends, client feedback, and business opportunities
  • Coordinate with overseas team regarding customer requirements and shipment status
  • Ensure smooth communication between operations, logistics, and customers

Requirements:

• 
  Experience in commercial sales, trading, or business development
  • Preferred experience in timber, wood, veneer, plywood, forestry, construction materials, or related industries
  • Strong communication and client-handling skills
  • Understanding of import-export or commodity trading business
  • Willingness to travel across India for client meetings and market development
  • Good reporting and coordination skills

Preferred:
• Existing network in timber/wood/construction industry
• Experience dealing with ports/import operations
