Job Description: Project Director
Position Overview
The Project Director will serve as the technical and delivery leader for our company’s Project Management
Consultancy services.
This role is responsible for overseeing project planning, cost control, quality assurance, and schedule
monitoring across multiple projects while acting as the primary technical interface for clients and
consultants.
The Project Director plays a key role in ensuring our company delivers high-quality project management
services that meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Governance & Leadership
 Lead the technical oversight of all PMC assignments.
 Establish project management frameworks and delivery standards.
 Provide strategic guidance to project teams.
Client Interface
 Act as the primary technical contact for project owners.
 Conduct project review meetings with clients and stakeholders.
 Provide progress reports and strategic updates.
Project Planning & Execution Oversight
 Oversee preparation of:
o Project schedules
o Cost control plans
o Procurement strategies
o Risk management frameworks
 Ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Design & Consultant Coordination
 Coordinate with:
o Architects
o Structural engineers
o MEP consultants
o Contractors
 Ensure design documentation aligns with project execution.
Cost & Schedule Control
 Monitor project budgets and contractor claims.
 Identify risks affecting schedule or cost.
 Implement mitigation measures.
Quality Assurance
 Establish quality standards and monitoring frameworks.
 Conduct periodic quality reviews and audits.
Key Performance Indicators
 Project schedule adherence
 Cost variance management
 Client satisfaction scores
 Successful completion of PMC mandates
 Project profitability
Required Qualifications
 B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering
 12–18 years of experience in construction project management
 Experience managing large infrastructure or real estate projects
 Strong understanding of project planning tools.
Desired Skills
 Leadership and project governance
 Construction project lifecycle expertise
 Stakeholder management
 Contract and procurement understanding
