Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Head to lead and manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations within the shipping industry. The role will be responsible for strategic planning, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and team leadership across domestic and international logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall logistics and supply chain operations for shipping activities
• Manage vessel logistics, freight movement, port operations, and cargo handling
• Develop logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Coordinate with ports, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities
• Oversee import/export documentation and compliance processes
• Drive vendor management and contract negotiations
• Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and service delivery standards
• Lead and mentor logistics and operations teams

Required Experience & Skills

• 12–18 years of experience in shipping, marine logistics, or maritime operations
• Strong exposure to port operations, freight forwarding, and supply chain management
• Experience managing large logistics teams and multi-location operations
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or related field
• MBA / Supply Chain certification preferred
