Designation :  Deputy Head – Bid Management

Exp :  15- 20 yrs

Locations –   Mumbai

Job Type : Full Time

Working days – 6 Days(1st and 3rd sat off and 2nd and 4th Sat is working from Home

Office Timing – 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM

Gender – Male

Qualification : B. Tech/B. E in Electrical Engg / MBA/ PGDM in Bid management

Required Skill Set : Good In Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Communication skills and Teamwork

Relevant Industry : Power, Utility, Switchgear, Projects

Job Description / Responsibilities

o Oversee in-process verification and quality checks for all tenders before

submission.

o Ensure full compliance with internal SOPs, client requirements, and

contractual guidelines.

o Identify risks, deviations, and gaps in technical and commercial submissions.

o Lead cross-functional coordination (Engineering, Procurement, Finance,

Legal) for approvals and clarifications.

o Develop, update, and enforce tendering standards, templates, and checklists.

o Capture lessons learned and implement best practices across bids.

o Support Bid Managers with guidance on compliance, documentation

structure, and risk mitigation.

o Monitor tender timelines and ensure readiness for timely, error-free

submissions.

o Mentor and support the team to strengthen quality mindset and process

discipline.

Desired profile of the candidate

Strong expertise in EPC tendering processes, techno-commercial evaluation,

and compliance.

o Excellent understanding of contract terms, technical specifications, and

documentation standards.

o Sharp eye for detail with strong analytical and risk-assessment skills.

o Ability to coordinate across multiple departments and manage complex

submissions.

o Proficiency in MS Office and structured documentation workflows.

o Leadership capability with focus on process improvement and quality

assurance.
