Excellent Opportunity  for Lab Manager in a leading Agro based Plant Tissue Manufacturing Company for Ranchi (Jharkhand) Location..

Designation : Lab Manager

Experience: 8 – 12 yrs

Locations – Ranchi (Jharkhand) Location

Job Type : Full Time – Work from Office

Working days : 6 days (Rotational off )

Working hours –  9.00 AM to  06.00 PM

Gender – Male

Experience:

8–12 years of experience in a commercial Plant Tissue Culture (PTC) laboratory, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role. Must have hands-on experience with ISO / NCS-TCP certification processes and cost-per-plantlet optimization.

Education:

M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Biotechnology or Botany.

Job Description (JD):

The Lab Manager will oversee the complete Plant Tissue Culture lifecycle, including planning and execution of lab schedules, ensuring strict protocol standardization, and maintaining the sterile chain of custody across all processes. The role involves managing team performance, monitoring quality standards, optimizing production efficiency, and ensuring compliance with certification and audit requirements.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  1. Contamination Rate: Maintain contamination levels below 3–5%.
  2. Production Targets: Achievement percentage of monthly sapling production goals.
  3. Protocol Efficiency: Continuous optimization of media cost and process efficiency.
