As a Brand Manager , you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a brand or portfolio of brands within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Your primary goal will be to enhance brand equity, drive consumer loyalty, and achieve sales and profit targets through innovative and data-driven marketing and branding strategies..
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Brand Strategies: Formulate and implement comprehensive annual brand plans, marketing strategies, and campaigns that align with overall business objectives
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct regular market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making
- Brand Positioning & Messaging: Define the brand’s positioning, unique value proposition, and core messaging to differentiate products in a crowded marketplace and ensure consistency across all touchpoints, including packaging, advertising, and digital channels
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital (social media, email, e-commerce), traditional media (TV, print), and in-store promotions
- Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and tracking return on investment (ROI) to maximize results
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to ensure brand strategies translate into effective in-market execution and strong retail presence and visibility
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction, using insights for continuous optimization
- Agency & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external advertising, media, and PR agencies, as well as internal stakeholders, to ensure cohesive campaign execution..
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in brand management or marketing roles, preferably within the FMCG sector
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data, derive actionable consumer insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Creativity & Strategic Thinking: Creative mindset with proven ability to develop innovative campaigns and solve problems effectively
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems)
