Key Responsibilities

• Market Analysis:
  Researching market trends, freight rates, cargo demand, and providing market intelligence to guide chartering strategies. 
• Vessel & Cargo Negotiation:
  Identifying suitable vessels and negotiating charter terms (voyage or time) for dry bulk and break-bulk cargo movements. 
• Contract Management:
  Executing and managing charter party agreements and associated commercial/legal clauses. 
• Post-Fixture Operations:
  Overseeing the efficient and timely transportation of cargo and vessel operations after the charter is agreed upon. 
• Team Collaboration:
  Working with internal departments, brokers, and external stakeholders to achieve chartering objectives. 

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: A minimum of 4- 5 years of hands-on experience in dry bulk Project Cargo’s and Steel Cargo & having past experience of fixing ships and cargo 
• Commercial Acumen: Sound understanding of shipping terminology and market intelligence. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills for client and broker interactions. 
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze market trends and make informed commercial decisions. 
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of charter party agreements, including voyage and time charter parties. 
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or a related field is often beneficial. 

Office Timings – 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Working days – MON – SAT ( 6 days)
