Urgently required MANAGER – DYEING & FINISHING for a well reputed company in Sri lanka.

Job Description:

1. Advise the team in the resolving of critical colour matching issues pertaining to both lab dips and bulk production, by overseeing the colour matching .
2. Advise the team in all the preparation process for dyeing such as scouring pre-setting and finishing process in order to have right specifications and the follow up mechanism.
3. Continuously monitor output of machines through random audits, rectify any production inefficiencies.
4. Follow up with engineering and planning teams in machine periodic maintenance to make sure machines are in the right condition to have a quality output
5. In consultation with the production teams, plan machine and resource allocation for the day in line with production plan requirements/prioritiesand monitor departmental delivery follow up mechanism to make sure internal process is aligning with that requirement in order to meet customer deliveries.
6. Meet regularly with the team in order to impart guidance and arrive at the root cause of process failures and follow up through preventive action initiatives in order to avoid if not eliminate recurrence.
7. Ensure timely reporting to the management to cover areas such as:

• Daily production output
• Labour turnover
• Process waste, rejections
• RFT
• Machine efficiency (preparation and colour matching time)
