Job Description

Job Title: GM -Project Management

Location: Bangalore

Exp : 15 yrs

Reporting To: CEO & MD

 

OBJECTIVE 

Take over the Sales Order for Execution (Supply or SITC) from Sales function and Ensure all deliverables are met to encash the on-time payment from the customer. The above objective can be accomplished through 2 subgroups of Project Management Functions.

 

GM’s responsibility is to spearhead these 2 functions to ensure: 

  1. Ontime delivery to customers 
  2. Ontime collection of payments by ensuring documents/process compliance 
  3. Customer satisfaction by providing prompt support 

 

  1. Project Delivery Manager (PDM): > Order to Dispatch 
  2. Study PO, Map Critical Project stakeholder, Capture Expected Delivery Schedule. 
  3. Track the status of Technical /Production clearance of BOQ line items 
  4. Ensure Technical Clerence of Items are Obtained at the earliest by organizing required submission with the help of internal team.
  5. Update Technical clearance status/tracker to customer frequently and ensure quick resolutions on Pending clearance 
  6. Once technical clearance is obtained and ensure the order is entered in ERP and get delivery commitments from Planning team/Order desk. ➢ Track all relevant internal processes like PCR, Order Entry etc and remove roadblocks if any 
  7. Communicate Updated Delivery Tracker to relevant customer stakeholder frequently 
  8. Ensure Materials are delivered to right hands and with adequate documents to ensure smooth payment collection.

 

  1. Field Project Managers: Dispatch to Payment 
  2. A) Only Supply (Need Basis) 
  3. Coordinate with the internal logistic team – Customer POC to ensure seamless delivery of materials to the site and receive proper POD. 
  4. Securing timely MIR signoffs from the client 
  5. Provide installation instructions to the contractor if needed 
  6. Resolve snag issues or rectifications if any 
  7. Build strong relation with all customer teams by providing on time support. 
  8. Ensure RAB (if needed) submissions on time to ensure payments on time 
  9. Obtain Project completion certificates

 

B: SITC (Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning) 

SUPPLY: Repeat A1 to A7 

INSTALLATION, TESTING & COMMISIONING 

  1. Capture Customer project handover schedule 
  2. Prepare Project and Resource Plan to meet customer target 
  3. Appoint external Contractors if needed 
  4. Ensure Installation, Testing and completion are performed in compliance with customer Policy, Timeline and Documents 
  5. Ensure RAB submissions on time to ensure on time payments 
  6. Obtain Project completion certificates. 
  7. Ensure to obtain the photographs of completed Projects.

  1. Commercial Office Lighting ( Supply & SITC) 
  2. Façade RGBW Lighting ( Supply & SITC) 
  3. Streetlight Projects ( SITC) 
  4. Stadium Lighting ( SITC)
