Job Description
Job Title: GM -Project Management
Location: Bangalore
Exp : 15 yrs
Reporting To: CEO & MD
OBJECTIVE
Take over the Sales Order for Execution (Supply or SITC) from Sales function and Ensure all deliverables are met to encash the on-time payment from the customer. The above objective can be accomplished through 2 subgroups of Project Management Functions.
GM’s responsibility is to spearhead these 2 functions to ensure:
- Ontime delivery to customers
- Ontime collection of payments by ensuring documents/process compliance
- Customer satisfaction by providing prompt support
- Project Delivery Manager (PDM): > Order to Dispatch
- Study PO, Map Critical Project stakeholder, Capture Expected Delivery Schedule.
- Track the status of Technical /Production clearance of BOQ line items
- Ensure Technical Clerence of Items are Obtained at the earliest by organizing required submission with the help of internal team.
- Update Technical clearance status/tracker to customer frequently and ensure quick resolutions on Pending clearance
- Once technical clearance is obtained and ensure the order is entered in ERP and get delivery commitments from Planning team/Order desk. ➢ Track all relevant internal processes like PCR, Order Entry etc and remove roadblocks if any
- Communicate Updated Delivery Tracker to relevant customer stakeholder frequently
- Ensure Materials are delivered to right hands and with adequate documents to ensure smooth payment collection.
- Field Project Managers: Dispatch to Payment
- A) Only Supply (Need Basis)
- Coordinate with the internal logistic team – Customer POC to ensure seamless delivery of materials to the site and receive proper POD.
- Securing timely MIR signoffs from the client
- Provide installation instructions to the contractor if needed
- Resolve snag issues or rectifications if any
- Build strong relation with all customer teams by providing on time support.
- Ensure RAB (if needed) submissions on time to ensure payments on time
- Obtain Project completion certificates
B: SITC (Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning)
SUPPLY: Repeat A1 to A7
INSTALLATION, TESTING & COMMISIONING
- Capture Customer project handover schedule
- Prepare Project and Resource Plan to meet customer target
- Appoint external Contractors if needed
- Ensure Installation, Testing and completion are performed in compliance with customer Policy, Timeline and Documents
- Ensure RAB submissions on time to ensure on time payments
- Obtain Project completion certificates.
- Ensure to obtain the photographs of completed Projects.
